In the late 1950s, after experiencing more than half a century of war, the newly established Republic of China had finally reached its tenth year. Yang Xiao Yi, Liu Shi Jun, and their friends are youths of this new era who have begun the journey to make their mark in the world. Having grown up in a single-mother household her entire life, Yang Xiao Yi is determined to find out the true identity of her biological father. Throughout her journey, she encounters ups and downs with her family, friends, and loved ones, ultimately learning and persevering through all her hardships and struggles.
