The protagonist, Shiro Amakasu, moved to Tokyo but, after failing his university entrance exams, gave up studying. He never found a job and drifted through life carefreely, living from day to day. Just as Shiro was about to abandon everything and return to his parents’ home, a man calling himself “Angel”, Seshinmi Tendo, appeared and warned him that he would die if he failed to complete a “proposition”. Introduced to the mail-order business MONO Company by his best friend Masato Nakatsugawa, Shiro finds employment and, with the help of Tendo and his colleagues, manages to overcome a series of propositions.
