At Channel 101's premiere show, in spite of not appearing in a pilot, Sammy Primero's cult character Chinky Lee had nearly enough write-in votes to enter Prime Time. Such was his preexisting fan base, so it was no surprise when Fastest Samurai debuted at #1 two months later.
