Rosemary and Laura travel to Italy to prepare the gardens for Emma Standish's new Italian restaurant but find themselves behind with the work. They decide to relax themselves and are recommended to go on a guided tour of Giardini Tremonti by the local fixer Fabrizio Biaggi. The tour however is halted when a lady named Janice Alexander is found dead. Fabrizio is arrested but Rosemary and Laura are asked to prove his innocence by Emma.
