Manu rushes out of the house straight to the akhada (gymnasium) on her horse early in the morning. Nana Saheb is yet to hone his skills, but Manu impresses one and all when she defeats Tatyaguru. The Peshwa has been exiled to Bithur by the English who are increasing their stranglehold over India. An incident at a religious function leaves Manu disturbed. Her father tries to make her understand that the Peshwa's insult was caused by the fear of the cruel English. The insult annoys Manu and when she witnesses the inhuman treatment of a stable hand by an Englishman, she punishes him with a whip. When Manu refuses to apologize, the Peshwa is forced to apologize to the Englishmen on Manu's behalf.

When Manu stubbornly refuses to apologize to Jeff, Vahini Saheb decides to teach her a lesson. Vahini Saheb orders Manu to memorize 25 Shlokas (verses) by evening or else she will have to face punishment. Moropant requests Vahini Saheb to forgive Manu. But to his disappointment, she starts insulting him, discussing his background and the favors he received from Peshwa. Manu couldn't tolerate this and argues with Vahini Saheb that she cannot insult her father because he has done nothing wrong. Manu then leaves Vahini Saheb speechless by narrating all the Shlokas along with the translation. Then Peshwa walks in and forgives Manu. Later, Manu agrees to apologize to Jeff in presence of everyone only if he apologizes to Basu Kaka. Peshwa thinks it's fair, however Jeff doesn't agree. At night, an angry Vahini Saheb tells Moropant to get Manu married off and leave Bithur. Peshwa interrupts their conversation and announces that from now on Manu will live in the palace.

Manu shows some children an arrow that explodes on hitting its target. She also displays its functioning in front of Nana Saheb. He is extremely impressed and invites her to come and practice at a isolated spot. While practicing, Nana Saheb's horse gets scared and starts running. The sudden movement results in Nana falling off the horse and being dragged by the horse. Nana Saheb falls off a cliff.

Manu climbs down the cliffside to help Nana Saheb. At the palace, situation is quite tense. Vahini Saheb and Rani Saheb are worried about Nana Saheb. Manson accuses Moropant of instigating a revolt against the Britishers. Manu is worried as Nana Saheb is unconscious after the fall. She decides to take him back to the palace. When Manu returns to the palace with an unconscious Nana, panic spreads. Manu is accused of injuring Nana Saheb. Later, when Manson questions Manu about the explosive arrows, she tells him that she made them. Manson warns Moropant that if anything like this is repeated, his pensions will be discontinued.

Moropant makes it clear to Manu that henceforth she will not use the bow and arrow. He even prohibits her from going to the training ground. At the training ground, Tatyaguru trains Rao Saheb and tells him to watch Manu when she comes. Later, he is informed that Manu will not be coming. Moropant requests Vahini Saheb to train Manu in household duties. The next day, Tatayaguru comes to meet Peshwa and requests him to allow Manu to resume her training. Rani Saheb tells Nana Saheb that henceforth he will ride an elephant. Manu is extremely disappointed as she is not allowed to take the elephant ride. She challenges Rani Saheb that one day she will have many elephants of her own.

Peshwa Bajirao gives Nana a dagger and asks him to gift it to Manu as a token of their friendship. Moropant shows Manu's horoscope to an astrologer who gets thoroughly impressed by the unique position of her stars. The astrologer tells Moropant that Manu will enjoy all pleasures and riches in her life. Meanwhile, Peshwa Bajirao along with his family decides to go for a dip at Ganga ghat. However, their dip and prayers are interrupted by Vaadrayan, a powerful and mighty Kanyakubj Brahmin from Bithoor, who detests Brahmins from other clans. Hearing Vaadrayan insult Peshwa further, Manu retorts and cites a versa from the Upanishads that states the real meaning of Brahminism.

Vaadrayana seething with anger vows to teach Peshwa Bajirao a lesson. Winston introduces the new Commissioner of Kanpur Sir Moreland who is accompanied by his wife. She had witnessed Manu give a witty answer to Vaadrayan, impressed by her, she gives Manu a gift. Meanwhile, the astrologer tells Moropant further that his daughter Manu will become a queen and will go down in history. Later, General visits Bajirao's court and warns him to avoid any confrontation with Vaadrayan. Manu is angered by this and decides not to offer prayers till the matter is resolved. Peshwa comes and pacifies her. He announces that Manu and others will take Indu's shagun to Kanpur. Meanwhile, in Jhansi, Maharaj Gangadhar Rao's coronation is in progress. However, he has more enemies in his court and family than friends. Later, Gangadhar Rao tells his ministers to arrange for his trip to Kanpur to offer prayers.

The assailant, who sports Company attire, evades royal capture and makes the king's aides suspect that the assassin is a Briton. Later, Gangadhar's loyalists deem that he needs an heir and a caring wife to stabilise his rule.

Though Tatya lets him go scot-free, Manu, with popular backing, makes George place a turban on the old man's head and honour him as promised. Vahini fears ruthless British vengeance for Manu's daring.

On being told about some British officers' arrival, Shyam Rao stops a nautch, after which they lash him so that he reveals Manu's identity. In Bithur, the Peshwa invites the locals to a feast to mark Indu's coming marriage and flings precious items out of delight.

Vaishali and her sister Kanta inform their father that they possess the peshwaship's gold coin. Vadrayan's fury heightens when his aide Dhrupad insinuates that Vaishali is smitten with Nana. At the Peshwa's 'Brahmabhoj' ceremony, Vadrayan urges other Hindu monks to abstain from eating the food and curses the Peshwa that he would lead a discredited life. A face-off ensues at the Peshwa's durbar between British troops and the peshwaship's forces when the Peshwa refuses to hand over Manu to them.

In a dungeon, Manu sees the ghastly treatment meted out to Indian prisoners, including landlord Shyam Rao. Manson hopes that the sight of the brutalities in prison would weaken Manu to such an extent that she would reveal to him the technique of making her special explosive arrows. Manu, who is inspired by the patriotic fervour of the detainees, promises to reveal the technique, but in exchange for the detainees' freedom. As the detainees are freed, a worried Moropant seeks to enter the jail.

Nana and Tatya Tope inform Lady Moreland about Manu's imprisonment after Prachi counsels her father to do so.

After meeting Captain Manson, Dhrupad provokes Vadrayan against the Peshwa by stating that the Peshwa plans to usurp his ancestral priestly rights by holding a puja on 'Durga Ashtami'.

Vadrayan tries to prevent the Peshwa from holding a puja. Tatya Tope stops Vadrayan from doing so. Though a reconciliatory Peshwa seeks Vadrayan's aid to hold the puja, a stubborn Vadrayan alone wants to conduct the puja, which almost leads to violence between his aides and Tatya Tope. Captain Manson, who is elated to see the divisions within Hindu society, threatens to arrest them and orders that the prayers stop until Bithur's law and order is under control. But Manu starts the holy prayer.

Vadrayan expels Dhrupad as an aide later. On hearing that the Britons plan to install another flag in Dholpur, Manu sneaks into Vahini's room, steals a piece of cloth and develops a flag for a mutinous female force.

Manson, who unsuccessfully tests Manu's fire arrow, is told by Dhrupad that Manu has planted a flag near the commissionerate's HQ. Manson accuses the peshwaship and Manu of behaving mutinously. But the Peshwa and his aides defend her.

Vahini suspects that Manu is being untruthful. Vahini is en route to a cow-house with Manu and her aides to perform puja. Just then, they see Captain Smith whipping a fakir at a crossroad after Dhrupad informs Manson that the fakir is urging the locals to revolt. As the fakir is about to be hung the next morning, a veiled Manu renders a British soldier unconscious, disrobes him and frees the fakir. As Manu is about to return to her room, Vahini sees a shadow in the dark and thinks it is Manu's.

Manson sees a British military effigy hung at the crossroad and asks Smith to untie the Briton. Sakharam tells the Peshwa that this is a revolutionary act. Manson accuses one of the locals of involvement in it and predicts a hellish British response. As a Briton whips a local, Kanta sees Manu's missing dagger and sends it to her through Kusum, a flower-seller's daughter. Gangadhar informs Moti that his relatives seek to harm him. Janki orders the astrologer to duplicate Manikarnika's horoscope.

Moropant tells Vahini that he intends to go to Kashi with Manu's newly made horoscope to find a groom for her. Manu tells the Peshwa that she seeks expertise in domestic tasks. When Manson tells the Peshwa that the Britons are about to hang 20 Bithur locals, Sakharam informs the Peshwa that not one of them is a Marathi. The Peshwa successfully bribes Manson to stop the Britons from crushing the locals. But Tatya Tope's insinuation that Manson is easily corruptible angers Manson and the Peshwa.

Tatya Tope bends to pick up the Peshwa's gold coins from the ground to give them to a haughty Manson. Manu ends his humiliation. Dixit tells Gangadhar that he has found a bride for him. Manu keeps her horoscope in Vahini's temple and places Indu's horoscope in Moropant's bag without telling him as he is about to leave for Kashi as she wants Indu to get married. Gangadhar's astrologer shows Manu's twin horoscope to Dixit in sync with Janki's plot. Manson deems that Manu hasn't behaved mutinously.

Manu trains Kusum, Prachi and Kanta rigorously at Laal Tila to help them carry out their tasks as members of the 'Naari Sena'. After female villagers quench these girls' thirst, they seek vainly to recruit the villagers. Vahini spots muddy footprints in the palace and is told by Indu that Manu has returned with Prachi from an outdoor visit. Manu convinces Vahini that she was in Laal Tila to collect mud to buff Peshwa's silvery plate. Manu secretly enters Manson's home at night to punish him.

Manu goes to Manson's home, robs cash from his cupboard and leaves a note behind. When Manson wakes up, he finds it and decides to take action against 'Kranti Guru'. Manu tells Vahini of her dream in which she sees Manson hanging people. Vahini performs a rite to cast off the evil eye on Manu. Vaishali tells Nana that her dad is searching for a groom for her and they can't be together anymore. When Tatya Tope tells Manu that he wonders who 'Kranti Guru' is, Manu almost tells him that it is her.

Vahini searches for Manu's dagger to keep it under her pillow to ward off bad dreams. The Peshwa is shocked when he hears about the robbery. Later, the villagers tell him that they want to hold a 'Ram Leela'. He tells Sakharam to make provisions for it. Sakharam opens a box found in the treasury in front of Bajirao. He finds gold coins and a note saying that they belong to Bithur. Moreland berates Manson over the stolen gold coins. Manu puts some gold coins in a box that Kusum had hidden.

Having heard from the locals that Manson had taken a bribe from the Peshwa, Dhrupad tells Manson about it. When Manson finds out that 'Kranti Guru' returned that money to the Peshwa, he tells Dhrupad to find out who is 'Kranti Guru'. After a puja for his dead wife, Gangadhar is told that Shastri Ji has found a woman, Shwethambara, whose horoscope suits Gangadhar's. Janki gives a poisoned drink to Vish Kanya. Manson accuses the Peshwa of stealing the bribe money and of being 'Kranti Guru's' ally.

Manu, who is in charge of the cast for 'Ram Leela', decides to cast women in it. After some hesitation, the villagers agree to it. Manson tells Smith not to underestimate a strong Manu and that he has seen what she is capable of. Dhrupad tells Manson that Manu is casting women in 'Ram Leela'. The British soldiers whip an Indian for not paying a tax. Manson asks Manu to pay the tax for practising in the garden, to which Manu agrees. Manu goes to Manson's house and burns the tax register.

Notices put up on walls say that anyone with information on 'Kranti Guru' will be rewarded with 100 pieces of silver. When Manson goes to the Bithur royal palace to collect the tax for the practising of 'Ram Leela' in the garden, Manu gives it to him. At night, 'Kranti Guru' sticks another notice over the previous ones, which urges the people to back 'Kranti Guru'. Indu reaches the garden and fights with Manu, saying she wants to play the role of 'Sita'. But Nana tells her to play Urmila's role.

Gangadhar dreams that Janki Bai and the others kill him. While Manu and the girls rehearse for 'Ram Leela', Manu says 'Kranti Guru's' lines. Sakhu Bai finds out that the woman, which Janki Bai found for Gangadhar, is a 'Vish Kanya'. Manson plans with Dhrupad to catch Manu red-handed as 'Kranti Guru'. Dhrupad is angry on seeing Nana with Vaishali.

Manson catches Malang and tells the people of Bithur that he is 'Kranti Guru'. Shanta tells Vahini that the British government has declared a curfew and no one can step out of the house. Manson beats Malang and uses him as a trap to lure 'Kranti Guru' to save him. Dhrupad hides with a British soldier to catch Manu. But Tatya Tope sees this and leaves the cattle on them. Dhrupad falls down while the soldier escapes. Tatya Tope ties Dhrupad's legs and hangs him upside down from a pole

The guards are afraid thinking that 'Kranti Guru' has come with his full army. Tatya Tope catches Manson, while Manu fights off the guards and releases the other prisoners along with Malang. Manu rushes out of the house straight to the akhada (gymnasium) on her horse early in the morning. Nana Saheb is yet to hone his skills, but Manu impresses one and all when she defeats Tatyaguru. The Peshwa has been exiled to Bithur by the English who are increasing their stranglehold over India. An incident at a religious function leaves Manu disturbed. Her father tries to make her understand that the Peshwa's insult was caused by the fear of the cruel English. The insult annoys Manu and when she witnesses the inhuman treatment of a stable hand by an Englishman, she punishes him with a whip. When Manu refuses to apologize, the Peshwa is forced to apologize to the Englishmen on Manu's behalf.

When Manu stubbornly refuses to apologize to Jeff, Vahini Saheb decides to teach her a lesson. Vahini Saheb orders Manu to memorize 25 Shlokas (verses) by evening or else she will have to face punishment. Moropant requests Vahini Saheb to forgive Manu. But to his disappointment, she starts insulting him, discussing his background and the favors he received from Peshwa. Manu couldn't tolerate this and argues with Vahini Saheb that she cannot insult her father because he has done nothing wrong. Manu then leaves Vahini Saheb speechless by narrating all the Shlokas along with the translation. Then Peshwa walks in and forgives Manu. Later, Manu agrees to apologize to Jeff in presence of everyone only if he apologizes to Basu Kaka. Peshwa thinks it's fair, however Jeff doesn't agree. At night, an angry Vahini Saheb tells Moropant to get Manu married off and leave Bithur. Peshwa interrupts their conversation and announces that from now on Manu will live in the palace.

Moropant requests Vahini Saheb to train Manu in household duties. The next day, Tatayaguru comes to meet Peshwa and requests him to allow Manu to resume her training. Rani Saheb tells Nana Saheb that henceforth he will ride an elephant. Manu is extremely disappointed as she is not allowed to take the elephant ride. The astrologer tells Moropant that Manu will enjoy all pleasures and riches in her life. Meanwhile, Peshwa Bajirao along with his family decides to go for a dip at Ganga ghat. However, their dip and prayers are interrupted by Vaadrayan, a powerful and mighty Kanyakubj Brahmin from Bithoor, who detests Brahmins from other clans. Hearing Vaadrayan insult Peshwa further, Manu retorts and cites a versa from the Upanishads that states the real meaning of Brahminism.

Vaadrayana seething with anger vows to teach Peshwa Bajirao a lesson. Winston introduces the new Commissioner of Kanpur Sir Moreland who is accompanied by his wife. Meanwhile, the astrologer tells Moropant further that his daughter Manu will become a queen and will go down in history. Vadrayan tries to prevent the Peshwa from holding a puja. Tatya Tope stops Vadrayan from doing so. Though a reconciliatory Peshwa seeks Vadrayan's aid to hold the puja, a stubborn Vadrayan alone wants to conduct the puja, which almost leads to violence between his aides and Tatya Tope. Captain Manson, who is elated to see the divisions within Hindu society, threatens to arrest them and orders that the prayers stop until Bithur's law and order is under control. But Manu starts the holy prayer.

As the fakir is about to be hung the next morning, a veiled Manu renders a British soldier unconscious, disrobes him and frees the fakir. As Manu is about to return to her room, Vahini sees a shadow in the dark and thinks it is Manu's.

Her father tries to make her understand that the Peshwa's insult was caused by the fear of the cruel English. The insult annoys Manu and when she witnesses the inhuman treatment of a stable hand by an Englishman, she punishes him with a whip. When Manu refuses to apologize, the Peshwa is forced to apologize to the Englishmen on Manu's behalf.

When Manu stubbornly refuses to apologize to Jeff, Vahini Saheb decides to teach her a lesson. But to his disappointment, she starts insulting him, discussing his background and the favors he received from Peshwa. Manu couldn't tolerate this and argues with Vahini Saheb that she cannot insult her father because he has done nothing wrong. Manu then leaves Vahini Saheb speechless by narrating all the Shlokas along with the translation. Then Peshwa walks in and forgives Manu. However, their dip and prayers are interrupted by Vaadrayan, a powerful and mighty Kanyakubj Brahmin from Bithoor, who detests Brahmins from other clans. Hearing Vaadrayan insult Peshwa further, Manu retorts and cites a versa from the Upanishads that states the real meaning of Brahminism.

The Peshwa has been exiled to Bithur by the English who are increasing their stranglehold over India. An incident at a religious function leaves Manu disturbed. Her father tries to make her understand that the Peshwa's insult was caused by the fear of the cruel English. The insult annoys Manu and when she witnesses the inhuman treatment of a stable hand by an Englishman, she punishes him with a whip. When Manu refuses to apologize, the Peshwa is forced to apologize to the Englishmen on Manu's behalf.

But to his disappointment, she starts insulting him, discussing his background and the favors he received from Peshwa. The Peshwa worships a glum Manu during the 'Kanya Puja', much to Vahini's unease. Manu eats a morsel of food as a mark of respect for the puja. Vaishali's mother meets Manu outside the puja venue and lauds her bravery even while lamenting the society's patriarchy. As Vaishali searches for Kanta in the palace and gets lost, Nana flirtatiously helps her. As Nana is about to leave for Kanpur with Indu's 'shagun' for Shyam Rao, the latter's aide tells them that Shyam Rao doesn't wish to wed Indu.

Shyam Rao's aide blames Manu for the cancellation of Indu's marriage. When Vahini condemns Manu's character, Nana says that he is equally culpable for Indu's plight. When the Peshwa absolves Manu, Vahini roars that Manu can return to the palace after undergoing purification. As Manu ponders Vahini's hurtful comments and sees Goddess Durga's idol being readied for 'Durga Saptami', Tatya Tope urges her to use her coming purification as a springboard for becoming an anti-British revolutionary.

As Manu undergoes ritual purification on the occasion of 'Durga Saptami', King Gangadhar performs a divine dance with Moti Bai to celebrate it. Sakhu Bai, Gangadhar's sister-in-law, tells her grandson Krishna Rao that it is his right to rule Jhansi and predicts later that a female warrior will occupy Jhansi's throne. Vahini instructs a bedecked Manu not to leave the Bithur palace until her marriage takes place. Moti Bai refuses to accept Gangadhar's precious gifts and seeks his help for charity.

As Narsingh discusses Jhansi's near bankruptcy with Gangadhar's relatives, Gangadhar accuses his sister-in-law Sakhu of plotting to kill her son and using his late elder brother's adopted son Krishna Rao to control Jhansi's levers of power. Sakhu and her aide secretly go underground wearing a veil to take a look at Jhansi's stolen treasure, which they plan to use to take over Jhansi violently. Manu seeks to burn a British flag on a flagpost on top of the commissionerate's building.

A veiled Manu burns the British flag on top of the commissionerate's HQ in the Dholpur village. Sakharam worries that the Britons may consider it Bithur's mutiny. The Peshwa feels that he will be held culpable by the Britons. Vahini, initially suspicious of Manu's involvement, assures him that Manu is guiltless. After meeting Captain Manson, Dhrupad provokes Vadrayan against the Peshwa by stating that the Peshwa plans to usurp his ancestral priestly rights by holding a puja on 'Durga Ashtami'.

Vadrayan tries to prevent the Peshwa from holding a puja. Tatya Tope stops Vadrayan from doing so. Though a reconciliatory Peshwa seeks Vadrayan's aid to hold the puja, a stubborn Vadrayan alone wants to conduct the puja, which almost leads to violence between his aides and Tatya Tope. Captain Manson, who is elated to see the divisions within Hindu society, threatens to arrest them and orders that the prayers stop until Bithur's law and order is under control. But Manu starts the holy prayer.

Gangadhar's astrologer lauds a girl's horoscope in front of Tatya Dixit and says that she will transform Jhansi's fate. Tatya Tope expresses to Manu that he lauds the person who charred the British flag. As Dhrupad forces Vaishali to wear the bangles he bought for her, she slaps him. Vadrayan expels Dhrupad as an aide later. On hearing that the Britons plan to install another flag in Dholpur, Manu sneaks into Vahini's room, steals a piece of cloth and develops a flag for a mutinous female force.

Janki says that she will not let the plans of Lachchu, Sakhu, Krishna, Ali and Gangadhar succeed. Gangadhar's astrologer tells her that if Manu weds Gangadhar, Gangadhar's rivals wouldn't be able to unseat him. Janki asks the astrologer to obtain Manu's horoscope. Manson, who unsuccessfully tests Manu's fire arrow, is told by Dhrupad that Manu has planted a flag near the commissionerate's HQ. Manson accuses the peshwaship and Manu of behaving mutinously. But the Peshwa and his aides defend her.

Vahini suspects that Manu is being untruthful. Vahini is en route to a cow-house with Manu and her aides to perform puja. Just then, they see Captain Smith whipping a fakir at a crossroad after Dhrupad informs Manson that the fakir is urging the locals to revolt. As the fakir is about to be hung the next morning, a veiled Manu renders a British soldier unconscious, disrobes him and frees the fakir. As Manu is about to return to her room, Vahini sees a shadow in the dark and thinks it is Manu's.

Manson sees a British military effigy hung at the crossroad and asks Smith to untie the Briton. Sakharam tells the Peshwa that this is a revolutionary act. Manson accuses one of the locals of involvement in it and predicts a hellish British response. As a Briton whips a local, Kanta sees Manu's missing dagger and sends it to her through Kusum, a flower-seller's daughter. Gangadhar informs Moti that his relatives seek to harm him. Janki orders the astrologer to duplicate Manikarnika's horoscope.

Moropant tells Vahini that he intends to go to Kashi with Manu's newly made horoscope to find a groom for her. Manu tells the Peshwa that she seeks expertise in domestic tasks. When Manson tells the Peshwa that the Britons are about to hang 20 Bithur locals, Sakharam informs the Peshwa that not one of them is a Marathi. The Peshwa successfully bribes Manson to stop the Britons from crushing the locals. But Tatya Tope's insinuation that Manson is easily corruptible angers Manson and the Peshwa.

Tatya Tope bends to pick up the Peshwa's gold coins from the ground to give them to a haughty Manson. Manu ends his humiliation. Dixit tells Gangadhar that he has found a bride for him. Manu keeps her horoscope in Vahini's temple and places Indu's horoscope in Moropant's bag without telling him as he is about to leave for Kashi as she wants Indu to get married. Gangadhar's astrologer shows Manu's twin horoscope to Dixit in sync with Janki's plot. Manson deems that Manu hasn't behaved mutinously.

Manu trains Kusum, Prachi and Kanta rigorously at Laal Tila to help them carry out their tasks as members of the 'Naari Sena'. After female villagers quench these girls' thirst, they seek vainly to recruit the villagers. Vahini spots muddy footprints in the palace and is told by Indu that Manu has returned with Prachi from an outdoor visit. Manu convinces Vahini that she was in Laal Tila to collect mud to buff Peshwa's silvery plate. Manu secretly enters Manson's home at night to punish him.

Manu goes to Manson's home, robs cash from his cupboard and leaves a note behind. When Manson wakes up, he finds it and decides to take action against 'Kranti Guru'. Manu tells Vahini of her dream in which she sees Manson hanging people. Vahini performs a rite to cast off the evil eye on Manu. Vaishali tells Nana that her dad is searching for a groom for her and they can't be together anymore. When Tatya Tope tells Manu that he wonders who 'Kranti Guru' is, Manu almost tells him that it is her.

Vahini searches for Manu's dagger to keep it under her pillow to ward off bad dreams. The Peshwa is shocked when he hears about the robbery. Later, the villagers tell him that they want to hold a 'Ram Leela'. He tells Sakharam to make provisions for it. Sakharam opens a box found in the treasury in front of Bajirao. He finds gold coins and a note saying that they belong to Bithur. Moreland berates Manson over the stolen gold coins. Manu puts some gold coins in a box that Kusum had hidden.

Having heard from the locals that Manson had taken a bribe from the Peshwa, Dhrupad tells Manson about it. When Manson finds out that 'Kranti Guru' returned that money to the Peshwa, he tells Dhrupad to find out who is 'Kranti Guru'. After a puja for his dead wife, Gangadhar is told that Shastri Ji has found a woman, Shwethambara, whose horoscope suits Gangadhar's. Janki gives a poisoned drink to Vish Kanya. Manson accuses the Peshwa of stealing the bribe money and of being 'Kranti Guru's' ally.

Manu, who is in charge of the cast for 'Ram Leela', decides to cast women in it. After some hesitation, the villagers agree to it. Manson tells Smith not to underestimate a strong Manu and that he has seen what she is capable of. Dhrupad tells Manson that Manu is casting women in 'Ram Leela'. The British soldiers whip an Indian for not paying a tax. Manson asks Manu to pay the tax for practising in the garden, to which Manu agrees. Manu goes to Manson's house and burns the tax register.

Notices put up on walls say that anyone with information on 'Kranti Guru' will be rewarded with 100 pieces of silver. When Manson goes to the Bithur royal palace to collect the tax for the practising of 'Ram Leela' in the garden, Manu gives it to him. At night, 'Kranti Guru' sticks another notice over the previous ones, which urges the people to back 'Kranti Guru'. Indu reaches the garden and fights with Manu, saying she wants to play the role of 'Sita'. But Nana tells her to play Urmila's role.

Gangadhar dreams that Janki Bai and the others kill him. While Manu and the girls rehearse for 'Ram Leela', Manu says 'Kranti Guru's' lines. Dhrupad overhears this and sees the same bangles on Manu's hands, which he found under 'Kranti Guru's' note. He realises that Manu is 'Kranti Guru'. Sakhu Bai finds out that the woman, which Janki Bai found for Gangadhar, is a 'Vish Kanya'. Manson plans with Dhrupad to catch Manu red-handed as 'Kranti Guru'. Dhrupad is angry on seeing Nana with Vaishali.

Manson catches Malang and tells the people of Bithur that he is 'Kranti Guru'. Shanta tells Vahini that the British government has declared a curfew and no one can step out of the house. Manson beats Malang and uses him as a trap to lure 'Kranti Guru' to save him. Dhrupad hides with a British soldier to catch Manu. But Tatya Tope sees this and leaves the cattle on them. Dhrupad falls down while the soldier escapes. Tatya Tope ties Dhrupad's legs and hangs him upside down from a pole

Tatya Tope understands that Manu is 'Kranti Guru'. Manu and Tatya Tope go to rescue Malang. Manson tortures Malang a lot. Tatya Tope and Manu use explosives and fight against the guards. The guards are afraid thinking that 'Kranti Guru' has come with his full army. Tatya Tope catches Manson, while Manu fights off the guards and releases the other prisoners along with Malang. The prisoners beat up the guards. Malang Baba and the prisoners are able to escape from Manson's clutches.

As Tatya Tope takes Manson outside the gate, Manson almost removes Tatya's mask. When Tatya runs away, a bullet hits his leg. Manu shoots arrows and wounds the soldiers. Manu and Tatya manage to escape. At Tatya's insistence, Manu heats a dagger and removes the bullet from his leg. Indu searches for Manu and finds out that Manu is 'Kranti Guru'. Manu expresses to Tatya Tope that, for the sake of the people's welfare, 'Kranti Guru' should die. But Tatya tells her that she is Bithur's hope.

Indu tells Prachi that she will tell everyone that Manu is 'Kranti Guru'. Prachi pleads with Indu, but Indu is adamant. Vahini sees Dhrupad hanging outside. Sakharam releases him and informs the Peshwa about this. Dhrupad is unable to explain to the Peshwa why he was behind the palace. Moreland apologises to the Peshwa and lifts the curfew on Bithur. Moropant tells everyone that Indu will marry the prince of Kashi. Then, the Peshwa praises Manu and promises to find a suitable match for her.

Indu apologises to Manu when she finds out that she got a match because Manu changed the horoscopes. Gangadhar tells Tatya that if Shwetambara is right for him, then he would meet her. Shwetambara comes to the palace to meet Gangadhar. She also brings along a painting that she made of him, which impresses him. Moti Bai is angry when she finds out that Gangadhar is going to marry a princess. When she confronts him, he tells her that he cannot make a prostitute the queen of Jhansi.

Manson challenges Tatya Tope to a sword-fighting match, and Tatya Tope agrees to it. Everyone, including the Peshwa, Sir Moreland and his wife, gathers to witness the match. Manson aims for Tatya Tope's leg so that he can expose his wound and let everyone know that Tatya Tope is 'Kranti Guru'. But Tatya Tope saves his leg again and again. Manu imagines Tatya Tope being caught and hanged. At last, Manson succeeds in cutting Tatya Tope's clothing near his leg

Tatya Tope wins the sword fight, and Manson calls him his guru. So, Manu tells Manson to touch his feet. Manson is forced to touch Tatya's feet by Christina Moreland. Angered by his humiliation, Manson tells Smith to increase Bithur's tax. Manu asks Tatya Tope how he hid his wound. He tells her that the doctor covered it with mud. Tatya tells Manu to be brave and take the lead to destroy British rule. Indu sees Manu practise with the sword. Manu asks her to join her army.

Manu tells Indu that she doesn't get to practice anymore. Indu tells her that Vahini Saheb is happy today and she will let Manu practise her sword fighting.
