He has won three Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe for his work on Monk. He also has a successful career in movies, with roles in the Spy Kids franchise, Men in Black (1997), Men in Black II (2002), Galaxy Quest (1999), 1408 (2007), Barton Fink (1991), Big Night (1996), The Siege (1998), and The Man Who Wasn't There (2001).
