Hungarian actor Péter Végh was born in 1960. He graduated in 1988, and began his career at the National Theatre, Budapest. He was chosen the Best Actor of the National Theatre four times (János Rajz Award, 1991, 1993, 1996, 1998). In 1999, he became a free-lance actor, although he still appears at Pesti Magyar Theatre (aka. the Old National Theatre). His recent roles includes Judas in the musical Godspell and Henry in Simon Gray's 'Close of Play'. He appeared in a few feature films and tv-films, including Diary for My Lovers (1987), Európa expressz (1999) and most recently Hungarian Vagabond (2004). Although he is an acclaimed stage actor, he is probably best known for his voice-over works. Most people identify him as 'The voice of Cliff Barnes in Dallas (1978)'.
