Louis Gino Acocella (born May 18, 1941), known professionally as Gino Brito, is a retired Canadian professional wrestler and promoter of Italian descent. He began his wrestling career in 1961 and was trained from a young age by George Cannon. In the 1970s, he gained international fame wrestling as Louis Cerdan, and alongside Tony Parisi, he became a WWWF World Tag Team Champion in 1975. Brito also had a significant career as a promoter, running International Wrestling in Montreal during the 1980s—a promotion that produced highly successful events but closed in 1987. He later worked with the WWF as a local promoter in Montreal and eventually founded Canadian Professional Wrestling (CPW) in the early 2000s. The son of wrestler Jack Britton, Gino is recognized both for his accomplishments in the ring and for helping develop the careers of talents like Dino Bravo and Abdullah the Butcher.
