Dilan Yeşilgöz

Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius (Ankara, June 18, 1977) is a Dutch politician of Turkish-Kurdish descent. Since February 23, 2026, she has been Minister of Defence and First Deputy Prime Minister in the Jetten cabinet. Additionally, since August 14, 2023, she has been the political leader of the Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie (VVD). Previously, she served as State Secretary for Economic Affairs and Climate Policy from 2021 to 2022, and as Minister of Justice and Security from 2022 to 2024.
