She achieved her breakthrough as an actress in 1987, starring alongside Jörg Hube as Traudl Grandauer in the ARD television series *Löwengrube*. She gained further prominence through her participation in numerous ARD Degeto productions and as the country doctor Johanna Lohmann in the television series of the same name.
